We are hiring for the following positions:
Crew Leader
Crew Leaders must have a clear understanding of job-site safety. Must possess knowledge of products. Must also have the ability to document daily activities. Must also be able to efficiently manage painters and all tasks involved with completing jobs. Qualified applicants must be able to Arrange walk-through with customer prior to start of job. Generate a "game plan" to finish the job on time. Additionally, the Crew Leader is responsible for the safety, performance, attendance, appearance, language of every man on his crew. It is the Crew Leader’s responsibility to see that all new hires are trained according to New Hire Training Procedures.
Lead Painter
It is the Lead Painter's responsibility to see that all employees are trained according to the Paint of WNY Standards and Procedures. Lead Painters must be able to efficiently carry out painting and paint related duties in a professional and workmanlike manner. Additionally, Lead Painters will ensure that all duties are carried out properly and within the timeframe prescribed by job sheets and Crew Leader. Qualified applicants must be able to perform all painting functions, without supervision in a competent, timely manner with the highest degree of craftsmanship and in accordance with the Paint of WNY Standards and Procedures. Must have knowledge of the proper use of scaffolding and paint sprayer. Keep an accurate account of each employee working on his particular job. Must possess knowledge of products. Monitor employee attendance, appearance, language, and proper use of equipment.
Painter
Painter must have a clear understanding of job-site safety. The painter is responsible for the safety and performance of every man on the crew in the absence of a Crew Leader and/or Lead painter. Qualified applicants must maintain a high level of cleanliness & organization and possess knowledge of products, maintain a full set of production tools, have the ability to move and use ladders and power equipment, have a clear understanding of painting preparation procedures and be able to perform all painting functions.
Carpenter
A Carpenter must have clear understanding of job-site safety. Qualified applicants have a clear understanding of carpentry procedures according to the Nolan Painting Standards & Procedures. IIt is the carpenter’s responsibility to help foreman train all Trainees & Apprentices according to the Nolan Painting Standards & Procedures. The carpenter is to monitor attendance, appearance, language, and proper use of equipment for yourself and other crew members.
Painter Apprentice
Help Painters and crew leaders with various tasks throughout the day. Must possess the capabilities to learn how to move and use ladders and power equipment. Must have an understanding of painting preparation procedures. Must show an ability to learn all painting functions.
